Introduction

If you’ve landed on this page, you seek anger management counselling for perpetrators of domestic violence course, and you’ve come to the perfect spot. You could be dealing with Cafcass and trying to make child arrangements plans with your children, or you could be going through family court and being required to undertake anger management. Many previous customers who took this course were later granted access to their children. At least five exceptions did not gain access to their children in the previous two years. The courts were dissatisfied because it looked that clients omitted vital facts, making them appear irresponsible, or had a long-term criminal record, and as a result they needed to do more sessions but when alerted to this and advised refused.

How many sessions will you need and is this the right domestic violence course for me?

Sessions are delivered online via video-calls saving you time and money on transport

This begs the question, how many sessions does this course provide? This anger management for perpetrators of domestic violence course normally offers 12 hours spread over three months of weekly one-hour sessions, and it is given online in the convenience of your own home, saving you time and money on trips for the sessions.  If you have a long history of criminal records dating back to your adolescence, you should expect to attend 24 sessions because it would be unjust to ask someone who does not have a criminal record to attend the same number of sessions as you. Furthermore, psychological research indicates that long-term problems take longer to resolve. Typically, the course lasts three months. This allows you plenty of time to study in between sessions when you have them and when you have to navigate between your routine and also dealing with the administration of legal documents. The sessions are one-on-one, which means they provide you with privacy and depth that you would not get in a group therapy setting. While I do not discriminate against people based on the type of violence they used, this course is not for everyone, and there are exclusion criteria that must be met in order to be accepted into this anger management for perpetrators of domestic violence course. You can find out if you are eligible by clicking on this link, which will take you to the page on the sister website. Warning: it loads slowly, and I will be working with IT soon to enhance the speed of that site. Alternatively, call me and I will explain the exclusion criteria for anger management for perpetrators of domestic violence course

What will you work on the anger management counselling for perpetrators of domestic violence course?

You must complete twelve sessions as part of the course requirements. At the end of each session, you will be given handouts on the topic of anger management for perpetrators of domestic violence. You will also learn strategies to express your emotions in a healthy way, as opposed to losing control and exploding in anger, which can lead to domestic violence. All of this is to assist you in preventing future incidences of domestic abuse and assist you in speaking in a way that children and your new partner will welcome.

Attendance and Performance Report at the End of the Course

At the end of the twelve-week period, you will be given a session-by-session report that is at least 12 pages long. It will comment on your attendance, your behaviour during sessions, causes of your outbursts and how you fixed it, how you address court’s and Cafcass’ concerns and your progress and psychological theories of change. As previously stated, most former clients gained access to their children. Those who did not were denied access as clients stated that the court believed that they failed to share a key information and thus appeared irresponsible, lacking the capacity to change, or the clients reported that the mother did not wish the father had gained access to their child yet, feelings that clients explained had to be respected by courts and Caffcass. You can find out what our formal clients thought of their attendance on this anger management for perpetrators of domestic violence course by searching via postings of reviews on my Instagram feed, where I attempt to post previous clients reviews at least once a month.
